I'm going to make some print design concepts and throw them up here soon. Bein involved in print for the last year and a half has been a good insight into how to design for it. All to often i see artists on here making business cards/letterheads with no thought onto the material its going on. Majority of work by designers i see is for the 'small time', so thermal or litho printing is out of the question,.. which means theres no way you can get the all those vibrant gradients on an inkjet without splashing out on superior quality 180+ gsm paper.. and you're not going to use that on letterheads (too glossy) and bussiness cards (not durable enough). Some people need to get clued up on it, tho I think its somthing that will help me raise above alot of designers.
